Cranfield welcomes students from the UK and around the world. This unique university only has postgraduate students. Every year, we have very capable students running into difficulties when they continue to study as a ‘student’ in the way they studied before. The unusual origin and history of Cranfield, with an emphasis on the application of knowledge, established a very different learning approach, which is challenging even for students who finished their undergraduate studies in the UK.
This seminar explains staff expectations of student performance using the Student Handbook qualitative descriptors.
Examples of changes in study approaches and mindset will be given to help new students to proactively adjust to Cranfield.
The seminar is useful to both Master’s and research students in all disciplines, and a great time to network with others.
The seminar is organised by the Christian Union.
All are welcome: Christians, people of any faith or no faith.
