ABOUT RAMADAN

Ramadan is the ninth month of the Islamic calendar. Muslims around the world observe it as a month of fasting, communal prayer, reflection, and renewed connection with Allah. It is also the month in which the Qur’an was revealed to the Prophet Muhammad (SAW), making it a time of immense spiritual opportunity and blessing.

Taraweeh prayers have commenced from Tuesday, 17th February 2026 (29 Sha'aban 1447), and will continue every day throughout the month of Ramadan. In addition, our daily iftar feeding will take place in the mosque every evening immediately after Salatul Maghrib, and everyone is warmly encouraged to join, support, and share in the reward of feeding those who fast.

May Allah accept all of our fasting, prayers, charity, and every act of worship in this blessed month, and grant us sincerity, forgiveness, and His mercy. Ameen.
