Who Are We?

CSA is a student-led, democratic organization dedicated to advocating for and supporting Cranfield University students. Every year, you have the opportunity to elect fellow students (or stand yourself!) as student officers who listen to and represent your voice on the issues that matter most—at local, regional, and national levels.

Beyond representation, CSA is also a registered charity. We receive an annual grant from the University but also run commercial services to fund student activities and improve our facilities. These include academic representation, campaigning, entertainment, and support for clubs & societies. As a not-for-profit organization, every penny you spend with us goes directly back into enhancing student life.

What Do We Do?

  • Represent and amplify student voices through elected officers and academic representation.
  • Create a thriving student community with events, social spaces, and student-led initiatives.
  • Support students with advice, resources, and opportunities for engagement.
  • Manage clubs and societies, ensuring students have access to extracurricular and networking opportunities.
  • Run student-friendly services to improve the overall university experience.

Since CSA is student-led, your involvement is crucial! Unlike other large organizations with extensive staff, we rely on student participation to make things happen. The more you engage with CSA, the greater the impact we can create together.
